I visited Madrid recently for the first time for a short weekend break, although none of the trips I take these days really feel like a break as I am constantly in ‘work’ mode. Work being street art hunting of course, not my real job, that’s forgotten about before I’ve even left the building…
I’m back again with the weekly round up and for the second week in a row it’s a day late as I spent yesterday travelling back from the excellent Nuart 2018 in my home town of Aberdeen. That and the fact that I’m rarely organised enough to write these things at least partly in advance.
I can’t repeat it enough that Lisbon was the most incredible place I’ve been too for street art. The sheer variety of artists and styles on display was almost overwhelming and definitely too much to take in over such a short trip. I NEED to go back!
I’ve not had the chance to do an interview for a little while so it’s nice to share this one with you from a personal fav from the streets of Barcelona – Dako.
It’s a double header on this week’s Wednesday wall mainly because I found two Japon pieces the same morning and I couldn’t pick one and leave the other so I’m sharing both!
