Contorno Urbano Gallery Opening

Local art foundation Contorno Urbano have recently opened a new office and art gallery space in the neighbourhood of Hospitalet de Llobregat and decided to mark the occasion with an exposition.

Called ‘Gente guay que nos gusta como pinta’ which roughly translates to ‘we like the way cool people look’ the show features the work of thirteen different artists and promises to be the first in a long line of gallery shows at this exciting new space in the heart of Llobregat.

Of course there was a great turn out for the opening night, along with some great art on show from the likes of Spogo and 2000nce, with their trademark abstract geometric works. These pieces were alongside more colourful character based pieces from the likes of  MagaEdjinn and Amaia Arrazola. The show also featured a few pieces from the legendary Treze which made the show that little extra bit special.

For once I didn’t actually take too many shots of the event as I was actually being sociable but I did manage to snare an interview with Argentinian artist Carolina Favale which I’ll be sharing very soon!

So for now check out some shots below and I’ll of course be sharing more from this new and exciting gallery space in the future.
