Endzlab – Blackbook and Sketches

Graffiti artist, screenprinter, clothes designer and shop owner Oreo has just held another of his monthly art events at his Endzlab shop in the Gracia neighbourhood of Barcelona.

This is the fourth event in a monthly series where Oreo is utilising the space in his shop and turning it into a gallery for local and international artists to show off their work in different mediums. This Month’s event was called ‘Blackbook and Sketches’ and showcased the non published work of all the artists on show.

Unfortunately due to work commitments this was the first of the shows I’d managed to get along too but previous shows featured artists work on clothes and vinyl records amongst other mediums.

There was a great turn out as always to the event with a mix of exhibiting artists, street art fans and inquisitive locals and tourists all in attendance to check out the sketches on show. There was also of course some amazing art adorning the shops bare brick walls.

The show featured the works of Oreo himself alongside artists such as DuneDirty 1984BorneoJulien UnavistaFrez and many many more.

I personally love what Oreo is doing with these events, using his shop as a platform to share the work of other artists and bring their work to a different and in some cases wider audience.

I’ve shared a few pics from the event below and if any of you dear readers are in Barcelona be sure to pop into Endzlab to check out this specially curated gallery!
