There is such an abundance of art in different forms and styles in the belly of Madrid’s La Tabacalera. It’s on every wall, round every corner and just when you think you have seen it all something else catches your eye.
This is yet another that I took a shot of whilst rushing around which then disappeared into the archives and was forgotten about until recently. The piece is by Norwegian stencil master Stein who’s work I’ve seen elsewhere but who seems to be a bit MIA these days.
It’s a reasonably small & simple stencil with the black and white colours suitably matching the dark humour involved. The piece depicts a hooded teenager reading from the “street art cookbook” a staple read I’m sure for some of those artists out there who favour plagiarism over inspiration.
