Wednesday wall #28

London based contemporary artist Endless visited Barcelona for a short period back in July and left behind, temporarily at least, one of his famous CHAPEL perfume bottles.

The bottle is Endless’s take on the iconic Chanel No5 perfume bottle which must be one of the most recognisable brands in the world today.

The artist has subtly changed the name on the bottle from Chanel to CHAPEL as a response to the brand obsessed culture we currently live in. Endless’s take is that these huge corporate brands and the new gods that we pray too.

A very thought provoking and subversive piece which I’m sure we can all relate to in some way or another.
