Wednesday wall of fame #3

This week’s Wednesday wall is this beauty by Morf. This is the first time I’ve seen the English artists work in person and I was completely unaware he was in Barcelona to paint. To the best of my knowledge this was the only piece he painted whilst visiting but I’m keeping my eyes peeled for any more just in case I’m wrong.

As with a lot of Morf’s work the hooded character looks to be falling from above but in this instance the character is also falling apart. The ubiquitous oversized feet have completely disconnected from the legs and the face and hands likewise. There is a real sci-fi vibe here, a clone falling after being pushed by the original… There is some really nice and vibrant colours too, I really like that mix of purple and green.

Fantastic work and maybe i’ll get lucky and find a hidden piece somewhere.
